Product Description of SANDALORE CAS No. 65113-99-7
Sandalore is a synthetic sandal-type fragrance whose olfactory profile closely resembles natural sandalwood, rendering it widely applied in perfumes, skin-softening preparations and skin-cleansing commodities. Alongside its structural analogue brahmanol, it is recognised as an agonist for the cutaneous olfactory receptor OR2AT4 and is capable of triggering robust Ca²⁺ signalling within cultured human keratinocytes.
Prolonged exposure of keratinocytes to Sandalore stimulates cell proliferation and migration. It also accelerates regeneration of keratinocyte monolayers in in-vitro scratch-wound tests, which indicates favourable epidermal wound-healing potential within human skin organ culture models. It is worth noting that natural sandalwood oil and other synthetic sandalwood-scented substances fail to deliver such biological activities.
