The 23rd China International Chemical Industry Fair (ICIF China 2026) will be held at Shanghai New International Expo Centre from September 15 to 17, 2026. It is hosted by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, and undertaken by Chemical Industry Sub‑Council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and China National Chemical Information Center. This is a UFI‑accredited exhibition. Founded in 1992, the fair has been held for 22 sessions. Its official theme is For New Excellence, Charting a New Journey for Chemistry, with an alternative slogan: New Development · New Pattern · Jointly Forge the Chemical Future. As one segment of China Petrochemical Industry Week, the event takes place at the kick‑off of China’s 15th Five‑Year Plan. It focuses on enterprises fostering new‑quality productive forces and practical cooperation within the global chemical industry.

ICIF China 2026 is like a giant ship setting sail, steering new directions for the industry across the vast ocean of the global chemical sector. More than a grand industry gathering, it represents a brilliant convergence of wisdom and innovation. It brings together chemical professionals and pioneering enterprises worldwide to explore development pathways for the chemical industry in the new era.
Exhibition Scale
The overall exhibition area of China Petrochemical Industry Week 2026 reaches approximately 155,000 m², with over 2,500 exhibiting companies and more than 80,000 professional visitors.
ICIF China 2026 occupies an exhibition area of 43,000 m², hosting 767 exhibitors including 168 “Specialized, Refined, Differential and Innovative” enterprises. Tens of thousands of products and advanced technologies are on display, fully presenting whole‑industry‑chain technologies, products and systematic solutions covering energy & petrochemicals, basic chemicals, advanced chemical materials, fine chemicals, green low‑carbon development and intelligent manufacturing.

Zone Layout
Exhibition zones cover nine major segments: energy & petrochemicals, basic chemicals, advanced chemical materials, fine chemicals, chemical safety & environmental protection, chemical packaging, storage & transportation, chemical engineering & equipment, digital‑driven intelligent manufacturing, and chemical reagents & laboratory equipment. “Scientific research achievements and related services” are also included, forming ten core exhibition categories. Four special featured zones are set up: Central SOEs Joint Exhibition Area, Green Low‑carbon Technology Zone, New‑energy Materials Zone and Smart Chemical Industry Zone. For the first time, four major central SOEs — PetroChina, Sinopec, CNOOC and Sinochem — jointly participate in the Central SOEs Joint Exhibition Area.

In 2027, the exhibition will assemble well‑known enterprises spanning energy & petrochemicals, basic chemicals, advanced chemical materials, fine chemicals, chemical safety & environmental protection, chemical packaging, storage & transportation, chemical engineering & equipment, digital‑driven intelligent manufacturing, chemical reagents & laboratory equipment, as well as scientific research achievements and related services. Tens of thousands of products and cutting‑edge technologies will be showcased. It serves as a vital platform for enterprises to promote new products, technologies, equipment and achievements, demonstrating major outcomes as the energy and petrochemical sector accelerates the cultivation of new‑quality productive forces.
At the outset of China’s 15th Five‑Year Plan, seizing opportunities to explore new tracks and expand new fields has become a practical challenge for enterprises. Centered on ICIF China, Petrochemical Industry Week acts not only as a platform for showcasing industrial technological innovation, but also as a key channel to advance practical cooperation across the global chemical industry. Let us look forward to its arrival.
